Hutchinson Housing Update - From flood map to new home grants

Carissa Paxton, Hutchinson Housing Coordinator, will share updates on New Construction, building specs and price points. The purpose of the MIH (Moderate Income Housing) development at Plum Creek and how to utilize that program, who its designed for and how to apply. City has begun to advertise the grants available at the project and you need to know the details! Carissa will also give everyone an update from the city on the flood plain map as well. The city has until late 2028 at the earliest to work with FEMA and KDHE to minimize the impact via appeal and 3d modeling, and work on some projects that will further alleviate affected areas. Come learn what the city is doing that effects housing, where the resources are and we will answer (or find out the answer) to your questions whether its on the new projects or the flood map or anything else City of Hutch related!
